Job summary

Poco Graphite, Inc. in Decatur, TX is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join our New Product Development team. You will develop new processes, products, and innovations and manage prototype manufacturing through ideation, design, development and testing stages.

You will lead a cross-functional team, manage schedules and budgets, explore IP opportunities, and interact with customers to drive data collection and sharing, while ensuring project milestones are met and communicated clearly.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• MS in a similar degree acceptable with experience
• Proven team player with strong communication and analytical skills
• Experience with DOE methodologies/tools desirable
• Experience with SolidWorks desirable

Responsibilities

• Transform customer inputs into models and prototypes and manage manufacture of prototypes
• Lead cross-functional team through concept to pilot phases
• Identify IP opportunities and work with IP committee
• Develop project plans and budgets; track progress and spend
• Communicate status via documents, notes, and presentations
