Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Project Engineer / IPT Lead in Anaheim, CA to guide multi-discipline teams through proposal, design, development, and delivery of next-generation products. The role combines leadership, technical mentorship, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

You will interface with Engineering and PM, drive performance within cost and schedule goals, and act as advisor to executives on complex technical studies. Prior DoD experience and PLM/ERP familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, CS, or Mathematics with 6+ years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 4+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Security Clearance.
• 4+ years' experience developing, proposing, and managing power systems or naval power/electro-mechanical products.
• 4+ years' experience with temperature, humidity, shock and vibration testing and certification.
• 1+ year leadership and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation and manpower planning.
• Previous DoD engineering development experience.
• 2+ years' experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
• 2+ years' experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
• Experience leading software engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as key interface between Engineering and Program Management.
• Ensure all technical performance, cost and schedule goals are met.
• Advise senior management and customers on advanced technical studies.
• Identify and manage program technical risks.
• Establish schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for tasks.
• Ensure engineering processes are followed on projects.
