Job summary

Lanco is seeking a Lead Project Engineer for its Material Handling Division to lead complex engineering projects from conception to production release. You will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, service, and commercial teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes project execution, technical oversight, and strong stakeholder communication to meet safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• Strong understanding of product development processes, engineering change management, testing, and production launch activities.
• 7+ years' experience in engineering, product development, or technical project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects and product development programs from concept through implementation and production release.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, service, operations, and commercial teams.
• Monitor project progress and identify risks; drive accountability for milestones and deliverables.
• Present project status and recommendations to leadership; manage scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Mentor engineers and team members in planning, execution, and reporting.
