Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Lead, Project Engineer to manage full lifecycle engineering efforts for software and hardware products. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, and coordinate reviews and approvals with customers and program management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of experience or a graduate degree with 7+ years, plus an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead a large cross-disciplinary project team to meet customer requirements within cost and schedule.
Develops and coordinates cost, schedule, and technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects.
Identify risks and opportunities and drive execution to meet program milestones.
Coordinate reviews and approvals between resource managers and program customers.
Work under enterprise-level supervision on quick-reaction projects and communicate performance to senior management.
