Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited institution or equivalent; PE license preferred or if non-ABET, Master's in ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a customer-focused attitude and understand customer expectations.
• Provide supervision for distribution project design support.
• Supervise design engineers and technicians on projects.
• Support district engineering in capital budget or other projects.
• Provide project management oversight and coordination with outside contractors.
• Provide training and ensure standardization of engineering practices; liaise between field engineers.
• Promote and assure standard compliance.
• Assist with outages restoration during major events (Incident Command Structure role).
• Provide support for regulatory reporting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) or equivalent with PE license consideration

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Master's in engineering from ABET-accredited program
