Job summary

Mass Transit Magazine seeks an Assistant General Manager of Project Delivery to lead design and construction for the Capital Delivery and Infrastructure Maintenance Division in Fort Lauderdale. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration, or closely related field.
• One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of education.
• Six years of progressively responsible experience in major public transportation projects and infrastructure, including supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction efforts for the Capital Delivery and Infrastructure Maintenance Division.
• Oversee capital projects to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, quality and timely delivery.
• Support preparation of the division budget and Five-Year Program to ensure adequate resources.
• Manage and supervise staff and resources.
• Ensure strong communication and coordination across all aspects of complex major capital projects in the design and construction phases.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and deliver excellent customer experience for internal and external stakeholders.
