Job summary

Hill International is seeking a Senior Program Construction Manager - Rail & Transit in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Lead transformational transit investments including rail modernization, corridors, expansions, BRT, and station redevelopments.

Act as trusted advisor to major transit agencies and help grow Hill’s national PM/CM practice while delivering construction excellence. You will oversee multiple concurrent contracts, manage teams, and drive safety, schedule, cost, and quality across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
20+ years of experience in construction management and/or project management for major infrastructure and transit programs.
Proven leadership delivering projects: $500M+; $1B+ strongly preferred.
Experience in Design-Build and DBOM delivery models, rail systems, and multimodal infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead construction management and field delivery across large-scale transit and infrastructure programs.
Serve as Owner’s Representative, ensuring contract, technical, and performance obligations are met.
Direct and manage contractors, DB/DBOM teams, and consultants in complex delivery environments.
Drive safety, quality, schedule adherence, cost control, and risk mitigation.
Mentor high-performing Construction Managers and field teams; lead project and program functions.
