Job summary

Lord Aeck Sargent Planning & Design seeks a Project Architect/Project Manager in Chapel Hill to lead complex institutional and housing/mixed-use projects. You will work across design, client management and project teams, driving research, design and documentation with strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in architectural firms, NAAB-accredited education, and fluency in Revit and related tools. Hybrid work options and a collaborative culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or licensed architect preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing projects in an architectural firm.
• Experience with multi-family housing is beneficial.
• Higher education project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design and implementation of complex institutional and/or housing/mixed-use projects.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders and manage project teams.
• Develop presentation materials and client communications.
