Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture seeks a Project Architect to join our Charlotte, NC Higher Education Team. You will produce construction documents, revisions, and addenda, review submittals and RFIs, and collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver integrated design solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Architecture with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, and strong leadership, coding, and budget-management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree required.
Licensed architect preferred but not required.
Minimum five years combined internship/architect experience.

Responsibilities

Produce construction documents, revisions, and addenda.
Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
Take responsibility for finished plans, specs and approvals.
Assist with budget management and schedules.
Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients.
Supervise design team members and provide guidance.
