Torti Gallas + Partners in Washington, DC seeks a full-time Project Architect to lead multifamily and mixed-use projects from concept through construction, collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams. This full-time opportunity offers $90,000-$110,000 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career and life outside of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture with multifamily/mixed-use focus.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating consultants.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction documentation.
• Experience with podium-style buildings.
• Proficiency in: Revit (required in all project phases), AutoCAD, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Enscape.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead multifamily and mixed-use developments through design and construction phases.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Guide design decisions and oversee BIM workflows to quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members and manage consultant coordination.
• Review drawings and specifications and support construction administration.
• Balance creativity, technical excellence, schedule requirements, and client expectations.
