Job summary

HKS, a recognized leader and licensed Architect, seeks an experienced Project Architect to envision, design and deliver exceptional projects for clients. Requires strong communication, creative problem solving, and the ability to manage client relationships with technical leadership.

You will lead teams, coordinate with PMs and clients for work plans and schedules, prepare detailed implementation documents and presentations, and ensure QA/QC and sustainability in design. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Accredited architectural degree required.
• Typically 15+ years of experience in architecture.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Leads team in planning work and solving design issues.
• Coordinates with PMs and clients to define work plans and schedules.
• Creates and edits detailed implementation documents reflecting design intent.
• Ensures code analysis and compliance with codes and zoning requirements.
• Oversees QA/QC and alignment with standards and best practices.
• Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts.
