Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead design-forward projects in Orlando, FL. In this full-time, in-office role you will manage projects from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring design integrity and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Florida RA, 5–10 years of experience, strong knowledge of building systems and codes, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect (RA) in Florida or eligible for reciprocity
• 5–10 years of professional architecture experience with project leadership on mid- to large-scale developments
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, permitting processes, and codes
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and construction documentation workflows
• Experience leading projects from design through construction with attention to detail and accountability
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Lead or support all phases of architectural projects from schematic design to construction administration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee preparation and quality control of construction documents
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets for timely delivery and quality
• Participate in client presentations, coordination meetings, and public hearings as needed
• Guide and mentor junior team members, including architects and technical staff
• Support project managers during bidding and construction phases, including RFIs and submittals
• Contribute to proposals and business development through design input and technical support
• Other duties as assigned
