Job summary

BCA Architects & Engineers seeks a Project Architect to provide technical leadership from pre-design through construction closeout. You will guide design decisions, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with the team to deliver integrated documents.

Ideal candidates have 5–15+ years of architectural experience, licensure, and strong BIM skills (Revit). Public-sector project background is highly preferred, with a collaborative, growth-focused firm environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture.
• Active architectural licensure required.
• 5–15+ years of architectural experience.
• Experience with public-sector projects (K-12, higher education, municipal) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through construction documents.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and client on program requirements.
• Own drawing and specification coordination across disciplines.
• Lead construction administration duties including submittals and RFIs.
• Support cost estimating and change order review and decision making.
