Job summary

Moody Nolan is seeking a licensed architect with 8-10+ years to lead design and deliver high-quality projects in New York. This role requires REVIT proficiency and strong client coordination.

You will manage multiple tasks across documentation, coordination with consultants, and oversight of permit and construction phases, while upholding design excellence and inclusive collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (required)
• Master's Degree in Architecture (preferred)
• Licensed Architect with 8-10+ years of experience
• Experience with New York School Construction Authority
• Experience in new building construction and construction administration
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and construction techniques
• Experience in construction document prep and field observation
• Proficiency in REVIT (required)
• Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other 3D modeling tools
• Ability to manage concurrent projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Provide design and delivery process leadership to the full design team and the client team
• Manage multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination with consultants
• Resolve complex technical and design issues with the team
• Direct production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks
• Ensure documents meet design intent and high technical quality
• Coordinate submittals and RFIs during construction
• Interface with permitting officials during permitting and construction phases
• Coordinate client billing and follow up on collection
• Manage client expectations and consultant coordination
