Job summary

Frederick Fox in the Conshohocken area is seeking an accounting lead to build the function from the ground up. This hybrid role is primarily onsite (about 4 days/week) with some flexibility, reporting to the Regional Controller, and taking ownership of project accounting, PoC, and revenue recognition.

You will supervise one accounting professional, implement internal controls, and support audits while expanding the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA progress a plus.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting; construction sector preferred.
• Hands-on PoC, job costing, and WIP reporting experience.
• Lean environment experience; proficient in Excel; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project accounting, PoC, WIP analysis, and job costing reporting.
• Own month-end close with Day 1 reporting and quarterly reviews.
• Manage financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Build internal controls and improve visibility during transition.
• Supervise accounting associate handling AP/AR; support audits.
