Job summary

elevantrecruiting is seeking a Sr. CNC Machinist in Fullerton, CA to program, set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include creating tooling, performing first article and SPC data collection, documenting labor and daily reports, and maintaining clean work areas. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years CNC experience, proficiency with Mastercam Mill and Okuma Lathe, familiarity with Okuma lathes, HAAS mills, and Daewoo/Fanuc controls, and

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC experience.
• Capable of programming using Master Cam Mill / Okuma Lathe.
• Familiar with Okuma lathes, HAAS milling machines and Daewoo/Fanuc Control.
• Read and understand blue prints.
• Knowledge of basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Fluent in English (read, speak, write and understand).

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC machines.
• Make tooling and fixtures as required.
• Perform First Article Inspection on molds and segments.
• Enter SPC jobs into the computer and collect SPC data.
• Print and close out jobs; prepare daily paperwork.
• Send and retrieve programs from the main computer.
• Complete daily labor reports and job travelers.
• Clean work areas and follow 5S standards.
• Crosstrain in other areas as needed.
