Job summary

Lynker Technologies seeks a Program Systems Engineering Lead in Greenbelt, MD, to provide senior-level engineering, science, and programmatic support to the NOAA LEO Program. The role engages architecture, requirements, and operations from design through transition, with hybrid or on-site work options.

You will collaborate with the LEO Senior Scientist and LEO Chief Systems Engineer, manage requirements, and ensure effective communication across stakeholders, driving mission success and policy

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of satellite systems engineering (orbit/attitude, launch & early ops, configuration management).
• Strong mission science / Earth observation background translating data into operations.
• Experience with software engineering standards, metrics, and requirements analysis in government/aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Assess societal/economic benefits of LEO data and prepare value assessment reports.
• Support mission science data communication to customers and bridge research and operations.
• Review LEO system implementation plans and configuration management.
