Job summary

State of South Carolina seeks an experienced IT training professional to develop and deliver advanced systems administration and information technology training for business, industry, and public-sector audiences. You will collaborate with partners to identify workforce needs, design high-demand IT courses, and ensure curricula stay aligned with evolving industry standards and technologies.

Prior teaching or corporate training experience is preferred, with emphasis on curriculum and materials

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with significant professional/industry experience in networking, computing, data analytics, cloud technologies, BI, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Experience developing curriculum, instructional materials, certificate programs, or workforce training initiatives.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Data+, Microsoft Certifications, AWS Certifications, Power BI, Tableau, or related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver advanced IT training to business, industry, and public-sector audiences using current tech and customized curriculum.
• Collaborate with partners to identify workforce needs, assess gaps, and develop relevant course content.
• Design and implement courses in high-demand IT fields, including systems engineering and systems administration, updating offerings to align with industry standards.
• Promote programs, support outreach and enrollment through marketing and digital channels, and stay informed on emerging technologies.
