Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader to head the 3rd shift in our Part Production team. You will supervise production technicians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive lean processes to meet customer delivery requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on documentation and process standardization. BS in engineering or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing leader with 5+ years of industry experience and prior indirect or direct leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Track record of developing and maintaining process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team on the 3rd shift to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Coordinate with Applications, Engineering, Software, and Manufacturing teams to run production builds.
• Perform quality assessments according to customer specifications.
• Provide feedback to identify problems and improve throughput, cost, product quality and safety.
