Job summary

AbelCine, Inc. is seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant to join our Burbank team. You will lead client discovery, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with engineering to develop the right solutions for production needs.

The role focuses on technical selling (70–80%) and new business development (20–30%), with travel roughly 10–20% locally. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in related roles are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training or experience.
• 5+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, account management, systems integration, or client-facing technical roles in media/broadcast/live production.
• Strong knowledge of production tech and workflows including film/TV production, broadcast systems, IP video, and related areas.
• Experience with consultative, solutions-based selling and technical discovery.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue goals and building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations to understand client workflows, requirements, challenges, and goals.
• Qualify opportunities based on scope, budget, timeline, and technical fit.
• Recommend solutions aligned with client needs and business goals.
• Prepare handoffs to engineering and stay involved as solutions are developed.
• Develop quotes, proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.
• Maintain pipeline and accurate forecasts in Salesforce.
• Stay current on AbelCine products, technologies, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Integration, Rental, Production Services, Engineering and Operations to bring resources to each opportunity.
• Build relationships with prospective and existing clients through events and networking.
• Develop opportunities from leads and open new accounts in existing and emerging markets.
• Introduce AbelCine's capabilities and expand relationships across departments.
