Job summary

You will work with maintenance to implement preventive maintenance, coordinate schedules, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Aggregates, Mining, or Construction Operations.
• Proficient knowledge of production processes and quality control methods.
• Experience with MSHA regulations and safety programs.
• Strong project management and resource planning abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to lead hourly teams.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Guardian Angel safety program with a daily focus on zero incidents.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, EPA, and local environmental permits.
• Lead weekly/monthly safety meetings and site inspections; conduct safety checks.
• Document safety incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions with urgency.
• Coordinate daily production schedules to maximize efficiency and maintain QC standards.
• Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Oversee procurement of supplies and equipment in line with policies to reduce costs.
• Coordinate staffing with Plant Manager and Human Resources for compliance and safety.
• Support development of annual HR plans and employee development tools.
• Monitor KPIs related to production volume, downtime, and costs.
• Direct and coach hourly workforce; conduct evaluations and merit reviews.
• Develop self-directed teams through cross-training and safety training.
• Maintain plant appearance and housekeeping to reflect company standards.
• Monitor dust, water management, and site reclamation efforts.
