Job summary

The IDEAL ELECTRIC COMPANY based in Mansfield, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor - Press Operation to lead and mentor the production team, oversee stamping press, tooling, and die operations, and ensure on-time delivery. This hands-on role requires coordinating workflows, managing staff performance, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work closely with the Production Manager, supervise Punch Press Operators and Tool & Die staff, and ensure ITAR/EAR compliance and ERP data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; tech school/ apprenticeship desirable.
• 5+ years in manufacturing; 5+ years in supervision/management.
• Experience in B2B environments with customers and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, project management apps, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical thinking, math skills, troubleshooting, and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, workflows, and manufacturing processes to meet customer expectations and on-time deliveries.
• Directly manage production, welding, punch press, and tool & die staff while maintaining good relations.
• Provide training, technical support, and cross-training on equipment.
• Resolve operational problems, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
