Job summary

Indium Corporation in Utica, NY seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a team of operators and ensure on‑time completion of orders while upholding safety and quality in a lean manufacturing environment. You will mentor staff, manage training records, and collaborate across departments to optimize productivity and ensure accurate documentation and inventory control.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of related experience, with a 1st shift 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and competitive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related work experience.
• Positive mentoring and leadership qualities.
• Basic math, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling, inventory, and lean concepts.
• Ability to access computer systems and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule activities within area of supervision in collaboration with other departments.
• Direct the activities and formally evaluate the performance of a team of Operators.
• Maintain knowledge of processes and coordinate resources to meet quality requirements.
• Observe safety requirements and stop production if safety is compromised.
• Access systems to document work, track scrap, and maintain inventory records.
