Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years related experience, or an Associate degree with 1 year, or 4 years related experience.
• Demonstrated mentoring and leadership qualities.
• Good computer skills and ability to conduct basic search.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of LEAN concepts and continuous improvement.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Provide own transportation for local travel between Indium facilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize work within production area.
• Observe safety and security requirements.
• Perform inventory control, track job orders, close orders, and record scrap.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of processes and assist operators with troubleshooting decisions.
• Reference supervisor about personnel matters in absence of Supervisor.
• Develop supervisory skills through formal and informal training.
• Provide input on Operator performance and learning potential.
• Uphold Indium's quality management standards and suggest improvements.
• Perform manual production tasks as needed.
• Attend training and work on special projects.
