Job summary

KPS Global (KPSG) is the North American leader in manufacturing and installing Walk-in Coolers and Freezers, with facilities spanning five locations including Piney Flats, TN. The Supervisor of Production directs production departments to achieve safety, productivity, quality and housekeeping goals.

You will coordinate activities, lead teams, and implement process improvements while ensuring policy compliance and employee safety in a dynamic factory environment.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual English and Spanish speaker preferred
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written
• Ability to direct associates using facilitation and demonstration techniques
• Mechanical aptitude to interface with people and processes
• Able to manage multiple short-term tasks at the same time
• Direct Reports 35-45
• Must be able to work in a normal factory environment that is subject to ambient temperature conditions
• Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Coordinating production activities, people, processes, and materials to complete production schedules according to process specifications
• Identifying problems and initiating corrective action
• Directing multi-functions
• Administering company policies and procedures
• Ensuring employee safety via SMS processes and procedures
• Determining man power requirements to meet schedules
• Facilitating internal continuous improvement processes
• Participating in formulating manufacturing policies and procedures
