Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. is seeking a Production Shift Leader to guide all department personnel on the assigned shift, drive line efficiencies, monitor KPIs, and uphold safety and quality standards in a high-speed production environment.

You will supervise staff, coach them through adjustments, and ensure equipment is reliable, startup readiness, and ongoing adherence to SOPs, with a focus on developing team members and maintaining schedule pressures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years supervising production staff.
• Basic computer and database application skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work within timelines and under pressure.
• Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to all department personnel on assigned shift.
• Manage line efficiencies, KPIs, and downtime.
• Monitor the production process, conduct periodic checks, and adjust equipment or work practices in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
• Verify the production line's readiness at start-up.
• Manage overall product quality to ensure all standards and specifications.
• Assist employees with troubleshooting problems and coaching them through making the correct adjustments.
• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
• Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
• Provide coaching, problem-solving, and team building for the department.
