Linamar Corporation in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate the production department, maximize productivity, and minimize costs while ensuring quality. The role includes training, scheduling, monitoring targets, and maintaining health and safety standards.

You will supervise die casting operations, troubleshoot equipment, lead meetings, and work with HR on employee relations. Prior experience with Buhler machines and Fanuc robots is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman/woman trade certification in related field an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage, initiate, and direct activities of employees and equipment.
• Allocate work to employees, set targets and communicate instructions.
• Maintain safe, productive environment and inbound safety practices.
• Conduct performance evaluations and training within the department.
• Schedule and adjust workloads; monitor turnaround times for repairs.
• Lead meetings; apply root cause analysis to issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety legislation.
