• Advanced ability to solve practical problems and deal with production issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple internal departments to ensure delivery of quality on time.
• Follows acceptable employee relation practices and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all direct labor on daily activities to meet production and quality targets.
• Trains employees and maintains training records.
• Ensures compliance with manufacturing process documentation.
• Maintains schedule adherence and staffing levels to meet schedules.
• Leads a high-performing team: interviewing, hiring, directing work, and performance management.
• Ensures quality standards on all products produced on shift.
• Distributes supplies, takes inventory, and initiates reorder as needed.
• Advises operations management on process improvements and safety matters.
