Job summary

Gardner Pie Company is a Northeast Ohio family-owned food manufacturer seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our operations and drive safe, efficient production.

You will supervise teams, implement lean improvement initiatives, ensure HACCP/GMP compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Logistics, and HR to meet production goals while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in continuous manufacturing, food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication across departments.
• Experience with LEAN and process improvement tools.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and food safety regulations preferred.
• Able to meet physical requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Safely produce quality products with efficient use of labor and materials.
• Provide transformational leadership and actively lead your team.
• Achieve operational excellence to meet/exceed the plan through continuous improvement.
• Supervise your team and day-to-day interactions.
• Maintain safety culture by safety walks and policy adherence.
• Conduct daily meetings to share information on Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and performance.
• Coordinate with departments across shifts to resolve issues and improve processes.
