Avient Corporation is seeking a Senior Production Operator in Bethel, CT to set up and operate equipment that blends, mixes, or transports chemicals for customer products, ensuring safety, quality and cost efficiency.

You will perform machine maintenance, record data, and support the company's vision while adhering to ISO and EH&S rules. The role may require overtime and is part of a global materials solutions company with strong benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up and starts all production machines, ensuring correct operation.
• Monitors blending/extrusion processes and maintains quality control.
• Records data and completes SAP transactions accurately.
• Performs routine machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Inspects materials visually to ensure conformance to specs.
• Reports issues to supervisor and supports shift handover.
