Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company in Conway, AR is seeking a Production Shift Leader to oversee the Second shift. You will lead Operators and Single Serve Team Members, ensure peak machine performance, and report issues to supervision and maintenance.

Responsibilities include daily shift briefings, data collection for shift reports, coordinating with Material Handlers for materials, and stepping in as shift leader when the supervisor is away.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines run at peak performance and report issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians.
• Record downtime and machine adjustments and share with Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians.
• Pursue continuing education on equipment when opportunities present themselves.
• Assist with breaks and lunches to maintain peak machine performance during shifts.
• Coordinate with Material Handlers to ensure proper raw materials at each machine and remove unused materials.
• If Supervisor is away, lead the shift to keep operations running smoothly.

Job description

• Conduct daily team meetings with Operators and Single Serve Team Members
• Collect data for Single Serve shift reporting at the beginning and end of every shift
• Ensure Machines are running at peak performance during shift and effectively reporting issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Technicians
• Ensure all recorded information of downtime and machinery adjustments are turned in to Supervisor and shared with Maintenance Technicians
• Responsible for continuing education on all pieces of equipment when opportunities present themselves
• Assist with breaks and lunches to ensure machines are running at peak performance for the full production shift
• Ensure full communication with Material Handlers to have proper raw materials at each machine and removal of non-used materials away from the machines
• If Supervisor is away or on vacation this role becomes the Leader of the shift to ensure that all operations run smoothly
