Job summary

Flex is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Austin, TX to lead the maintenance department in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

You will direct daily activities, establish PM schedules, generate logs and metrics, manage budgets, and develop staff across shifts while upholding safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent maintenance experience.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in supervisory roles.
• 5 years of supervisory, team management, and team building.
• Experience with automated machinery and robotics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and ability to manage maintenance teams across shifts.
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts and their practical applications.

• Direct daily activities to optimize equipment use and meet production demands.
• Establish and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Generate maintenance logs and operations metrics.
• Forecast departmental operating costs and prepare budgets.
