Job summary

Marquee Staffing - CB in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an experienced Production Line Lead to supervise daily operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and capable of guiding a team.

This role features a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with compensation at $18.00 per hour. You will ensure GMP compliance, proper documentation, and smooth production workflows while maintaining a safe, organized workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Leadership or line-lead experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety practices, and production documentation.
• Ability to follow work orders, written procedures, and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and guide production team members.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the full assigned schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production employees assigned to the work area.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Follow GMPs and all food safety and quality policies.
• Follow work orders, procedures, and SOPs.
• Ensure production, kitchen, and packaging procedures are followed correctly.
• Support batch traceability by completing production, kitchen, and packaging forms.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Use Fishbowl software to print product labels.
• Operate equipment after completing setup, pre-operation, and shutdown training.
• Adjust and correct machine settings as needed.
• Notify the Shift Lead or Supervisor of production problems or equipment concerns.
• Follow all company emergency procedures.
• Report food safety or quality concerns to authorized personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
