Job summary

DAP is seeking a Production Work Leader at the Baltimore Plant to support the packaging area under the supervision of the shift Production Supervisor. The role includes overseeing daily work, coordinating with departments, and ensuring accurate inventory and downtime reporting. The position requires prior manufacturing experience, leadership exposure, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Production Supervisor with assigning daily work and directing team members.
• Communicates with other departments consistently to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assists in maintaining inventory by reporting material usage and reducing waste.
• Maintains production logs and completes paperwork accurately.
• Uses SAP software for operations and reporting.
• Keeps work area clean and safe and adheres to PPE rules.
• Works in other areas as required by business needs.
