Job summary

DAP is seeking a Production Work Leader at the Baltimore Plant to support the packaging area and assist the shift Production Supervisor. The role involves directing a team, coordinating with departments, and maintaining accurate production and inventory records. Overtime is required with double-time pay beyond 50 hours per week.

2nd shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Pay rate is $28.36–$29.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• Previous lead role directing others.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to climb steps/ladders.
• Wears PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with assigning daily work and directing team members.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate inventory reporting and minimize waste; report spills; verify counts.
• Maintain production logs to record downtime/issues and complete paperwork.
• Utilize SAP software.
• Perform housekeeping to keep a neat, safe work area.
• Follow safety rules and assist in other areas as needed.
