Job summary

DCS Corporation in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Production Engineer for ground combat vehicles to interface with United States Marine Corps Program Office, US Army Combat Capability Development Center - Ground Vehicle System Center, other government agencies, and prime/ sub-contractors to provide technical support and direction from development through sustainment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) is required with relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with vehicle software integration onto a vehicle.
• Experience with production of large, complex systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to customer and contractor facilities and test centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a combined project team of government and contract employees located in many different locations while meeting directed delivery dates to meet fielding requirements.
• Provide engineering support regarding production and process improvement to Combat Vehicle systems planning, design, development, and execution.
• Conduct requirement development and decomposition from higher level specifications and voice of the customer.
• Work in a team environment with our USMC customer and DCS Engineers.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems encountered with vehicle production issues.
• Conduct system engineering tasks including risk management, data management, and trade study analysis.
• Conduct Project Management tasks including WBS Development, IMP, IMS and cost analysis.
• Develop Subject Matter Expertise on a variety of combat vehicle subsystems.
