Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software architect to define the long-term technical strategy across brand sites, focusing on reliability, observability, and high-quality delivery of business priorities.

You will drive paved-path architecture patterns, mentor senior engineers, and ensure performance, scalability, and resiliency of AWS-based services while collaborating with engineering leads.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer or architect
• Strong command of web architecture principles, including HTTP, DNS, caching, and API delivery paradigms such as REST and GraphQL
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining high-volume distributed services on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proven ability to drive technical decisions across multiple teams and communicate complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
