Vail Resorts in South Lake Tahoe, CA, is hiring for winter seasonal positions including cooks, drivers, instructors, and a product sales role. Starting wage ranges from $21.50 to $26.88 per hour with full-time hours and housing availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in customer service or ticket sales.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors with exposure to elements.
• Must be fluent in English and able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Maintain knowledge of resort products, policies, and operations, coordinating with other departments as needed.
• Build and apply knowledge of all Product Sales lines of business including tickets, passes, SRS, activities, and greeters.
• Lead daily product sales operations, including opening/closing procedures, break coverage, troubleshooting, and sales oversight.
• Support the training and development of product sales team members in daily operations.
• Monitor and document team member performance and behavior, providing feedback and recognizing strong performance.
• Respond to guest inquiries, comments, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Oversee and maintain sales facilities, equipment, and inventory; submit work orders to Facilities, IT, or other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Starting Wage: $21.50/hr - $26.88/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain sales facilities, equipment, and inventory; submit work orders to Facilities, IT, or other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in customer service or ticket sales required
• Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs

The expected pay range is$21.50/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
