Job summary

FINRA is seeking a Lead Product Manager - Surveillance to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Market Surveillance data products. You will manage backlogs for the Market Abuse group, define requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders across UI/UX, architecture, and technology teams to drive product success.

You will lead complex product development from planning through launch, use data analytics to prioritize backlog, and mentor others while aligning with FINRA’s mission of investor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Strong writing ability and business acumen.
• Experience translating data into quantifiable actions.

Responsibilities

• Develops deep understanding of business and product areas; defines vision and strategy.
• Owns product roadmap for multiple products; prioritizes trade-offs across products.
• Leads product planning with requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Reviews demos with the tech team and validates acceptance criteria.
• Leads large, sometimes complex product launches with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitors metrics, gathers user feedback, and iterates on products post-launch.
• Mentors junior product management team members and drives best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or similar
