Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered, global leader in brokerage infrastructure, seeks a Lead Product Manager for Market Data to shape pricing, licensing, data sourcing, and API strategy. You’ll own the market data product line, collaborate with exchanges, and ensure robust developer tooling for our partners and internal teams.

You'll influence what data we offer, how it’s packaged, and how it’s sold, while delivering APIs, feeds, and analytics that power our platform and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience defining market data strategy for a data-driven platform.
• Proven track record negotiating licensing with exchanges and vendors.
• Experience building pricing and packaging for data products.
• Strong understanding of data APIs and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Alpaca's market data strategy and revenue model.
• Negotiate exchange licenses, redistribution rights, and entitlements.
• Decide data sources, packaging, and build-vs-buy tradeoffs.
• Own APIs and developer experience for market data.
• Lead partner discovery and prioritization for data capabilities.
