Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Market Data to define and own Alpaca's market data strategy as a revenue-generating product line. You will own what data we source, how we price it, and ship APIs, feeds, and tooling used by partners and internal teams.

This role blends strategy and delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand data offerings across asset classes and geographies while driving commercial success.

Qualifications

• Lead product management experience preferred.
• Experience with data products or market data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own live data onboarding, licensing, and redistribution constraints for new exchanges.
• Define pricing and packaging models for real-time and historical data across assets and geographies.
• Assess build-vs-buy decisions for data infrastructure and proprietary data products.
• Create pricing, packaging, and collaborate with sales to grow market data revenue.
• Own the developer experience for market data APIs and documentation.
• Lead partner discovery and prioritize data capabilities for neobrokers, RIAs, funds, and crypto venues.
