Job summary

RBC is seeking a Lead Product Manager focused on equity strategies and equity investment vehicles within Global Asset Management. You will work closely with investment teams to drive product innovation, development and long‑term growth of our equity products, reporting into GAM US Distribution.

You will manage end‑to‑end lifecycle, collaborate with legal/compliance, and prepare materials for boards and committees, building go‑to‑market plans with distribution and IPM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in the asset management industry.
• Deep understanding of the competitive landscape within the equity asset class.
• Detailed knowledge across all US vehicle types such as commingled funds, mutual funds, and ETFs.
• Experience across multiple distribution channels with a product perspective.
• Experience bringing new products to market.
• Experience using analytical tools such as Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Preqin, Bloomberg.
• Strong understanding of US fund regulation and the product approval process.
• CFA / CAIA designations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Director of Product Innovation on end-to-end lifecycle management of equity strategies.
• Act as the firm’s SME for US vehicle types including ETFs and mutual funds.
• Identify and champion new equity product opportunities.
• Navigate product approvals with legal/compliance and other stakeholders to accelerate time-to-market.
• Prepare materials and present to boards and governance forums with confidence.
• Develop go-to-market strategies with distribution, marketing and IPM.
• Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory changes to identify opportunities.
• Produce competitive analyses and contribute to business development plans.
