Job summary
RBC is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Global Asset Management, focused on equity strategies and investment vehicles in the US. You will drive product innovation, manage lifecycle, and align with investment teams to grow our equity product suite.
This role reports into the GAM US Distribution channel and partners closely with legal, compliance, and distribution teams. You will shape go-to-market plans, present at governance forums, monitor market dynamics, and coordinate with IPM to support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 7+ years in asset management.
- Deep knowledge of the equity asset class.
- Experience across multiple distribution channels.
- Experience launching new products to market.
- Knowledge of US fund regulation.
- CFA/CAIA designations strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of equity strategies.
- Act as SME for US vehicle types including funds and ETFs.
- Identify and champion new equity product opportunities.
- Navigate product approvals with legal and compliance.
- Prepare materials for boards and governance forums.
- Develop go-to-market strategies with distribution teams.
- Monitor competitive landscape and investor trends.
- Produce competitive analysis and business development plans.
- Coordinate with product managers and IPMs to support client teams.
