Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a leader to shape the multi-year strategy for cloud APIs, developer tools, and infrastructure integrations. You will bridge deep technical architecture with product strategy and guide the Compute Foundations team in delivering core primitives, APIs, and developer tools.

You will drive the vision for how developers interact with Akamai Cloud, evolve enterprise tools, and pioneer AI-first workflows using Model Context Protocol endpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Ability to drive API quality, consistency, and platform performance.
• Experience in building developer tooling and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Craft multi-year vision and roadmap for Akamai Cloud developer tooling.
• Modernize enterprise API paths, elevate API quality and platform performance.
• Pioneer AI-first interfaces for AI agents and LLM-driven workflows.
• Collaborate on API design guidelines, OpenAPI standards, and schema governance.
• Oversee development of CLI, SDKs, and Infrastructure as Code providers.
• Unify the Developer Experience across platforms for consistency and efficiency.
