Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. in the Cloud Technology Group seeks a senior product leader to define the multi-year vision and execution roadmap for Akamai Cloud developer tooling, APIs, and platform interfaces.

You will collaborate with engineering on API design guidelines, OpenAPI standards, and tooling (CLI, SDKs, IaC), modernize enterprise API paths, and drive a unified Developer Experience across Akamai’s platforms, enabling AI-first workflows and scalable cloud compute.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and driving the multi-year vision, product strategy, and execution roadmap for Akamai Cloud developer tooling
• Modernizing brownfield enterprise API paths while elevating API quality, consistency, and platform performance
• Pioneering next-generation developer interfaces for AI agents and LLM-driven workflows using Model Context Protocol endpoints
• Collaborating with engineering on API design guidelines, OpenAPI standards, schema governance, and API Gateway capabilities
• Overseeing product development for official developer tools including CLI, SDKs, and Infrastructure as Code providers
• Influencing strategy of streamlining and unifying the Developer Experience across multiple platforms to ensure consistency and efficiency.
