Job summary

Sidecar Health is seeking a Lead Product Manager for claims automation to own AI-powered features across data extraction, enrichment, identification, adjudication, and routing. You will drive strategy, development, and launch in a fast-paced, regulated health-insurance platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, IS, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of product management in processing systems with workflows, queues, routing, and automation.
• Experience taking AI products from concept through launch with non-deterministic systems — evaluation, safety, trust.
• Deep understanding of AI agents and agentic architectures — shipped systems with sequences of actions.
• Strong ability to design auditable, traceable systems in regulated financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for claims automation across data entry, enrichment, adjudication and routing.
• Map operational processes to technology and software solutions.
• Define where AI/ML capabilities should be applied within the claims pipeline and where rules-based logic remains.
• Define evaluation frameworks for AI product quality—accuracy, safety, auditability, and trust.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows, audit trails, and escalation paths for regulated systems.
• Define quality and turnaround-time metrics for automated workflows and rollout decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ship high-impact improvements.
• Navigate compliance-driven requirements and translate into clear product requirements.
• Write clear PRDs and specs for both deterministic and non-deterministic components.
• Use data and experiments to measure performance of automated workflows.
