Job summary

Sidecar Health in the United States is seeking a Lead Product Manager for claims automation to own AI-powered features across the claims lifecycle, from data intake to payout. You will shape strategy, partner with engineers, designers, and data scientists, and drive adoption of auditable, deterministic and AI-driven workflows.

You will balance build vs. buy decisions, define MVPs, and establish quality metrics for safety, accuracy, and trust in a regulated financial-transaction domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience working on processing systems with workflows, queues, routing, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience taking AI products from concept through launch, including managing non-deterministic systems.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for claims automation across the claims processing platform.
• Define AI/ML capabilities placement within the pipeline (extraction, classification, routing).
• Define evaluation frameworks for AI product quality (accuracy, safety, auditability).
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows, audit trails and escalation paths for a regulated system.
• Write clear, detailed PRDs and specs for deterministic and non-deterministic components.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to ship improvements.
• Navigate build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions with stakeholders and vendors.
• Measure performance of automated workflows and improve accuracy and throughput.
