Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead the project team from an engineering perspective, prioritizing, planning and executing activities for development, industrialization and continuous improvement of Engine Cooling Systems.

You will focus on cost-effective solutions to technical, performance, quality and durability problems discovered during development of new products, with exposure to global coordination and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5-8 years of work experience in Engineering (automotive industry, development of automotive Heat Exchangers or equivalent preferred).
• Knowledge of Heat Exchanger design and validation or equivalent components.
• Understanding of thermodynamics theory as it applies to automotive engine cooling applications.
• Understanding of GD&T and automotive industry standards.
• Must have Product Development and Production Launch experience.
• Must have strong communication skills and desire of global project coordination.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form with all levels of the organization.
• Experience at the MAHLE products and NAFTA plants are preferred.

• Lead development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of our Engine Cooling Systems.
• Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to technical, performance, quality and durability problems discovered during development of new products.
