Job summary

MAHLE Filter Syst.(US) in Troy, MI is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead the project team from an engineering perspective through development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of Engine Cooling Systems.

You will also focus on the development and implementation of cost-effective solutions to technical, performance, quality and durability problems discovered during the development of new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5–8 years in automotive engineering, heat exchangers preferred.
• Knowledge of heat exchanger design and validation.
• Thermodynamics understanding for automotive cooling applications.
• GD&T understanding and industry standards knowledge.
• Product development and production launch experience.
• Strong communication and global project coordination.

• Lead the project team through development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of engine cooling systems.
• Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to technical, performance, quality, and durability problems.
• Coordinate global projects and communicate across all levels of the organization.
