Job summary

Coach is a global fashion house known for modern luxury accessories and apparel, based in New York. The Product Development Manager will lead end-to-end development for Cut & Sew and Knitwear, partnering with Design, Merchandising, Materials Management, and Technical Design to meet quality, calendar, and cost goals.

You will drive fabric and yarn development, coordinate with mills and suppliers, and manage costing throughout the development cycle to ensure successful production handoff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in apparel product development, incl. Cut & Sew and Knitwear.
• Experience developing fabrics and yarns with mills and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of garment, fabric, and yarn costing.
• Knowledge of knitwear construction and yarn specs.
• Collaborative cross-functional communication.
• Strong negotiation and project management skills.
• Advanced PLM and BOM management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development for Cut & Sew and Knitwear.
• Partner with Design, Merchandising, Materials Management, and Technical Design.
• Manage calendars, milestones, and cost/objectives.
• Coordinate fabric, yarn, trims, and development samples.
• Lead weekly product team meetings and cross-functional reviews.
• Maintain BOMs and lead cross-functional handoffs to production.
